FAQs for Vets & Techs
How do I become an IndeVet?
It's easy. Click here to send us some information. We'll be fast in touch to set up an interview. We want to hear your story – what kind of medicine you like to practice, what your favorite shifts are to work, to name a few things. We'll run a background check, get you set up in our system and get you to work as soon as you're ready.
What kind of commitment do you need from me?
Our structure is designed for flexibility in the work place, so we will work with you to design a schedule that works for you. The more commitment you make, the more benefits.
Can I really choose my hours?
Yes. Most of our reserve shifts are 6 to 12 hours. If that type of shift works for you, it works for us. Afternoon and evening shifts are sometimes shorter. We'll play matchmaker for your best work schedule and share the results with you.
When do I get paid?
Every two weeks!
How far do I have to travel?
How far are you willing to travel? Most of our reserve shifts are less than 45 minutes drive from your home!
What if I'm not licensed to practice in the state?
We'll help you obtain the proper licensure, until then, we'll only offer you reserve shifts in states that you have a license.
Isn't this just another relief gig?
